Police Investigate Double Shooting On East Side

Two people were shot on the east side of Columbus Tuesday afternoon around 1:30 pm.

Police said the shooting occurred near 960 Mt. Vernon Avenue.

Witnesses told police the bullets came from a black vehicle that drove by the scene.

"I wanted to see if I could help." said retired firefighter Victor Moody. ""Emotions were running high, you wanted to do more if you had that training..but you can only do so much when the crowd is all excited and everything."

Shonta Glass, 23, was transported to Grant Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.

Thomas Seals, 19, was driven to Ohio State University Hospital East. Seals' condition improved Tuesday night from critical to stable condition.

Police have not made any arrests.
