Columbus Police said three people are in custody after an officer-involved shooting on the northwest side of the city.

Officers said four people busted through the door at the Oreck Vacuum Store on Sawmill Road around midnight. They took cash from an office.

Police said four suspects ran from the building after robbing it, and that's when an officer fired at the suspects. It was unclear if anyone was injured in the shooting.

Officers said they followed the suspects in a getaway vehicle which crashed just a few blocks away on Stanburn Road. Officers were able to apprehend three of the four suspects following the crash.

Police are still searching for the fourth suspect.

Employees are now cleaning up the mess at the Oreck store. Nearby employees are also concerned another suspect is still on the loose.

“We're literally right next to them. We have two dry wall sheets between ours and there’s. Our office connects right to their store,” said Daniel Hartwell, an assistant manager of the store next to Oreck.
