Police Arrest Man After Girl Says He Exposed Himself To Her

Police were investigating after a man allegedly exposed himself to a 17-year-old girl on the west side Monday morning.

According to police, the alleged incident occurred along South Green Street at about11:30 a.m.

Police arrested 26-year-old Matthew Green in connection with the alleged incident at about 12:30 p.m.

The alleged victim, who 10TV News did not identify, said that Green has been doing the same thing to her for months.

“This happens every day,” the teen said. “He’s out here. He’ll be like, ‘Come on, touch it for a buck. Come on $2, $5,’ and I’ll be like, ‘No.’”

The girl said that she never was able to get a good description of the man until Monday.

She said that she was walking along South Green Street when her phone rang and she answered it. She said that was when the man pulled up, rolled down the window, exposed himself and asked her to get in.

The teen told her friend on the phone the license plate number and walked away as fast as she could.

“She came in, almost crying that some guy tried to tell her to get in the car and talk to you,” said Larry, the alleged victim’s grandfather. “I said, ‘Did you get the license number,’ and she said ‘Yes, I got it, I’m calling the police.’”

Police caught up with Green driving the vehicle and took him into custody. He is charged with compelling prostitution.

“It makes me sick, it makes my stomach turn just seeing him,” the teen said. “It’s just disgusting.”
