Police Arrest Driver Accused Of Fleeing After Striking Motorcycle

Columbus Police arrested a driver accused of fleeing after striking a motorcycle Tuesday night.

Police said a gold SUV struck the motorcycle shortly before 10 p.m. on Bethel Road at Dierker Road in Northwest Columbus.

Officers said the SUV driver fled but was arrested around 11 p.m. at Park Run Drive and Dierker Road.

Police said the driver of the motorcycle was alert and was taken to Grant Medical Center in serious condition.
