Plain City Police Remind Residents About No Knock List
The Plain City Police Department is reminding residents that if they do not want to be bothered by solicitors, they have the option to sign up for the no knock list.
The department said you have to register every year even if you have signed up in the past.
The No Knock Registry was created in 2012 and it permits residents of the village to exempt themselves from certain types of commercial door-to-door solicitation.
It does not apply to non-profits, such as Girl Scouts, school fundraisers and church groups.
