Pickaway County Deputies Give All-Clear After Investigating Bomb Threat

Pickaway County deputies gave the all-clear after investigating a bomb threat.

The call came in to the Walmart store on U.S. 23 South in Circleville Wednesday night around 10:40.

According to the store clerk, the caller said there were bombs inside the store.

A supervisor got on the phone, and the caller repeated the threat.

The Pickaway County Sheriff's Office responded and locked down the store.

Store employees and customers were evacuated.

Deputies searched the building along with a K9 bomb unit. The Columbus fire department also helped in the search.

Investigators didn't find any explosives and the store was reopened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
