Pataskala City Leaders Reevaluating Gun Laws
Pataskala leaders are evaluating the city's gun discharge laws.
Residents have expressed some concerns that the laws are too lax, allowing people to shoot in their backyard gun ranges, despite how close they are to neighboring properties.
At least one councilman is in favor of considering changes, including tweaking the city's discharge map, which designates where residents can and cannot fire guns.
Pataskala's mayor said he favors handling complaints on a case by case basis, but he said city council is looking into the issue.
