After a quick break from the snow and frigid cold today and early Monday, another cold fast moving Alberta Clipper will spread flurries and snow showers back into central Ohio late Monday into Tuesday morning. Snowfall amounts of 1-2 inches will be possible Monday night. Much colder air will filter in behind the storm system Monday night with temperatures dropping into the teens by Tuesday morning. Temperatures will hold steady or fall during the day Tuesday as arctic air moves in. Overnight lows Tuesday night into Wednesday morning will dip close to zero.
Yet another clipper-type storm will move into the state late Wednesday with another chance of light snow. This storm will reinforce the cold air in place for Thursday. Temperatures will moderate Friday and Saturday before another arctic blast arrives Sunday into Monday.

Inconvenient Weather: Gusty winds may create some blowing and drifting snow in rural areas tonight. Otherwise quiet weather is expected until Monday afternoon when snow flurries and snow showers will develop. Snow will become steadier Monday night with accumulations of 1-2 inches possible Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Planning your Day: Clouds will increase on Martin Luther King Jr. Day with seasonable temperatures in the lower 30’s. Snow flurries will develop by late afternoon with a chance for light snow by evening. Snow will become more widespread Monday night as a cold front moves through the area.
