Parents of several students who attend a Columbus elementary school say the bus is not showing up in the mornings.

One parent told 10TV that the bus has missed her child's stop at Westview Drive and High Street for the past two days.

A 6-year-old Indian Springs Elementary student had to ride to school on a COTA bus with a parent.

The parent says Columbus transportation officials are not answering their questions.

"Between 8:25 and 8:40, she tried to call 10 times and could not get through. This morning at just a little after 8:20, she started calling and eventually got through, was on hold for 10-15-20 minutes and then was cut off," said parent Amy Martin.

The school was made aware of the problem, but at this point, she has not been given an explanation about why this happened.

10TV is still waiting for a response from Columbus City Schools.
