Southwest Licking Schools reports they had a number of busing problems on the first day of schools.
The district started classes on Tuesday, and a number of parents reported their kids bus's didn't make it home until several hours after they were supposed to arrived. Some parents reported their students were up to three hours late.
District Superintendent Robert Jennell admits there were problems on day one.
Jennell says some of those problems were caused by new drivers getting lost in rural routes and students who had bad addresses listed. But, the Superintendent adds that these problems are unacceptable and there will be changes.
The School Transportation Director added that things will go more smoothly on Wednesday.
