OSU Women Fall To Hawkeyes At Home

The Ohio State Women's Basketball team was back in action on Sunday at home hosting the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The Hawkeyes would lead by as many as 17 points in the game as they were led by freshman guard Ally Disterhoft , who made the most of her first collegiate start finishing with a game high 24 points.

The Buckeyes made a run in the second half to get back in the game led by Martina Ellerbe and her 17 points.

The Buckeyes would make it a two point game with just over 6 minutes to go but that is as close as they would get, as Iowa goes on to win 81 to 74.

The Buckeyes are now 12-9 on the year 2-3 in Big Ten play.
