One Person Shot During An Argument In North Columbus
Columbus Police are searching for a gunman after a shooting late Saturday night in north Columbus.
Police say the victim, 51-year-old Freddie Johnson, was arguing wth his girlfriend, 53-year-old Venita Moore, when she pulled out a gun.
Moore handed the gun to a friend and told him to shoot Johnson, which he did. He then took off.
Johnson was shot several times in the legs and was rushed to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.
Detectives on the scene told 10TV that Johnson was expected to survive.
Assault Unit Detectives quickly arrived at the scene and were interviewing witnesses.
Moore is being charged with Complicity to Commit Felonious Assault.
Detectives are still seeking information on the man that fired the weapon.
