One man is dead after a shooting involving Pike County Sheriff's deputies.

It happened on Fields Hollow Road near Latham overnight.

Pike County prosecutors report three deputies were chasing after a man who repeatedly rammed his vehicle into theirs, later shooting and killing him.

Witnesses in the area said they reported hearing multiple gunshots.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation is now investigating the incident.
