OHP: 1 Dead After Semi, Pick-Up Crash Into House

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said that one person was dead and three were injured after a semi and a pick-up truck crashed into a home Tuesday afternoon.

According to troopers, the two vehicles crashed near the intersection of state Route 302 and U.S. Route 42 and then crashed into the home.

The driver of the pick-up truck died at the scene, and bystanders pulled the driver of the semi, which was carrying bananas, to safety. The driver was hospitalized.

Two people inside of the pick-up were also injured in the crash and hospitalized.

The female homeowner was inside at the time of the crash and was uninjured.

The home was decimated by the vehicles crashing into it.

The crash caused several explosions and downed several power lines.

The names of those involved were not immediately released.
