More than 50 people waited in line overnight outside Ohio’s first Cabela's store.

By daylight, those who waited were joined by nearly 5,000 more at the store, located off of Interstate 71 on Gemini Place.

The likes of Gov. John Kasich were on hand to deliver remarks at the grand ceremony at 10:45 a.m.

“I've been here about 9:30, 10 p.m., so it has been a little bit of cold but no regrets whatsoever. I’m first in line, so I'm good,” said Zach Irwin.

As the doors opened, some flocked to the aquarium, others to the café to grab a bite to eat. The majority flocked to the gun library, though.

Irwin, who was in that majority, was the first person side the door, and he came away with a gift from Cabela’s.

“I got a $500 gift card, nothing much, you know, some spending money,” Irwin said.

The store will also offer a mountain replica with wildlife displays and an aquarium, an indoor archery range, a gun library and a fudge shop.
