Ohio State President Cancels Graduation Speech At Columbus Catholic High School

Less than a week after controversial comments about Catholics were released, Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee canceled a commencement address at a Columbus Catholic high school.

According to OSU officials, Gee was scheduled to give the commencement address at St. Francis DeSales.

He offered to cancel his speech, and DeSales officials accepted the cancelation.

OSU officials said that Gee canceled so attention could be placed on the graduating students.
