Ohio State University officials say the Horseshoe is about to get some renovations.

A $9 million project will add seats to the south stands which will allow for more students in that part of the stadium. Officials say that permanant lighting will also be added on top of the stadium walls.

The work is set to be done by August.

After it's complete, 2,500 student seats will be moved out of the north end zone C-Deck and into the south stands.

Students told the University newspaper The Lantern that they hope the additional seats will help create even more noise problems for opponents.
