Ohio State Highway Patrols Increase Holiday Enforcement
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is increasing the number of troopers on the road as the New Year's holiday approaches.
Troopers are looking for drivers not wearing their seat belts and speeding, as well as signed of impaired drivers.
"Obviously, there's fewer fatalities in the state of Ohio and I think that shows everyone's doing their part as far as whether it's us doing our part as law enforcement or a regular citizen calling in," said Trooper Shane Meddock.
In Ohio, dial #OSP to report impaired or distracted driving on interstates and highways.
