The Ohio State Buckeyes spent Thursday morning on the practice field, but they weren't preparing for the season open against Bowling Green.

More than 280 men and women with disabilities were at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center taking part in their own training camp.

The event, sponsored by Goodwill and Kroger, began four years ago when Special Olympics coach Steve Weaver came up with the idea and ran it by Urban Meyer.

Now, Urban's coaches and players volunteer every year.
