U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown says several businesses from Ohio had a role in providing equipment for this year's Super Bowl.

Maumee Bay Turf Center of Oregon, Ohio, was among the companies that helped to install a synthetic playing surface at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The referees' whistles were made by American Whistle Corporation in Columbus, and game balls were produced at an Ada factory by the Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
