Man arrested in connection to fatal shooting at northeast Columbus pub

Police have charged 25-year-old Armando Flores with murder in the shooting of 51-year-old Rudy Tirado-Gonzalez.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Division of Police has arrested a man in connection to a fatal shooting inside a northeast Columbus pub on Jan. 23.

According to police, officers were dispatched to The Crazee Mule Pub & Grill on Cleveland Avenue. When officers arrived, they found 51-year-old Rudy Tirado-Gonzalez suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead.

Court records state detectives were able to review security video which showed a man arguing with Tirado-Gonzalez inside the bar. The man then pulled out a handgun and fired multiple times at Tirado-Gonzalez.

The man was identified by witnesses as 25-year-old Armando Flores. 

Flores, charged with murder, was arraigned on Saturday morning and is being held on a $1 million bond.
