Police: 3 injured in 'gunfight' at southeast Columbus after-hours club

Police said the shooting happened around 5:10 a.m. Sunday.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Three people were injured in a shooting in southeast Columbus Sunday morning, according to police.

Columbus police said officers were called to a shooting around 5:10 a.m.

Police said the shooting happened at an after-hours club in the 3500 block of Refugee Road, when an argument "escalated into a gunfight."

The three people shot, two men and one woman, left the scene and called 911 from another location.

Two people are listed in critical condition and one person is listed in stable condition.

Two of the people shot told police they were shot by an unknown person firing from an unknown direction.

A 10TV crew at the scene saw several people being detained but police have not announced any arrests.
