Newark Police Seize Multiple Guns From Man Who Shouldn't Have Had Them

Newark police say they seized five guns from a man who tried to sell one to a police officer.

According to Newark police, three rifles, one shotgun and one handgun were seized from 39-year-old Terry Walker.

Officials said that Walker was trying to sell a gun to an officer.  Another officer did a background check on Walker and found that he had a felony arson conviction from 1999. He was not supposed to own weapons.

A search warrant was executed at Walker's home on Wednesday, and the guns were seized.

Walker now faces a felony having weapons under disability charge.
