Neighbors said an SUV left a path of destruction before slamming into a Pataskala home Monday night.

Police said that car entered the home on Laurel Drive around 10 pm.

Neighbors say the same driver hit signs, a mailbox and a pine tree before smashing into the house.

Homeowner Theresa Bell said she was inside the house with her 8-year-old daughter when then SUV came crashing inside.

"It pushed out the wall of the den.  It's in the kitchen. There's debris all over the place, I can't get to the basement.  Our daughter is terrified," said Bell.

Police said they were testing the driver for possible intoxication.
