Nanny Cam Helps Convict Babysitter Of Abuse
A New Albany babysitter was found guilty on Thursday of abusing children who she was hired to care for as more family members of her victims had to be removed from the courtroom.
Gianna Cochran was found guilty of seven misdemeanor counts and five felony counts of child abuse, 10TV's Joanna Freeman reported.
Video taken from a hidden "nanny camera" showed Cochran taking drastic steps to quiet children.
As the video was being played for the judge, it sent some family members of the victims into a rage.

On Wednesday at least two people had to be removed from the courtroom after outbursts, Freeman reported.
The video showed Cochran carrying a child around by his ankle and covering another child with a blanket.
The video was captured two years ago by a camera her ex-boyfriend set up. He was suspicious she was abusing their own daughters.
"This is the kind of thing that doesn't leave any marks, the kids can't talk, thank God there weren't any apparent injuries, at least not yet," said Franklin County Common Pleas Court Judge David Cain.
Cain revoked Cochran's bond and ordered her held in jail until her sentencing.
"Her being in jail is the best part, that's where she needs to be," said Shantell Shaw, an aunt of one of the victims. "She won't be able to hurt her kids."
Cochran faces up to 25 years in prison. She was scheduled to be sentenced on April 1.
