Murdered Woman’s Benefit Raises Enough To Pay For Funeral
Family and friends say they raised enough money to pay for the funeral for a murdered Grandview Heights mother.
On Sunday, a benefit was held for Jennifer Cooke, 35, who was stabbed to death in her home.
Friends who helped organize the benefit said that enough money was raised not only to pay for the funeral, but also start a trust fund for the daughter Cooke left behind.
No arrests have been made in Cooke’s murder.
Police had earlier looked into her ex-husband as a possible suspect. Officials served a search warrant at his Grandview Heights home.
