Motel Murder Suspects Face Judge

Two people charged in the death of a man at a west Columbus motel, were scheduled to face a judge Saturday.

22-year-old William Phillip Greene and 18-year-old Ariana Caprice Ruddock are charged in the murder of 23-year-old David Oliver Duff.

Duff was found shot to death in a room at a West Broad Street Travelodge Saturday, March 15.

According to The Columbus Dispatch, Duff’s grandfather said Duff and Greene got into an argument over a $500 lottery ticket, and that Greene was holding the ticket for Duff.

Greene and Ruddock were arrested in Florida and brought back to Ohio.

Greene is charged with murder and Ruddock with complicity to murder.
