High pressure remains in control of the weather across central Ohio keeping skies mostly clear. Temperatures will remain seasonably mild tonight with overnight lows falling back into the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. One more dry day is in the forecast on Sunday with temperatures climbing back into the middle to upper 80s. Sunday will start with mostly sunny skies; however clouds will be on the increase late in the day. A cold front will approach the state on Monday bringing with it an increasing threat for showers and thunderstorms as we head through the day an into Monday night. The cold front will stall across the state on Tuesday keeping with it the threat for pop up storms.
A stronger storm system is expected to move into the state on Wednesday bringing more widespread showers and storms. There will also be the threat for more widespread strong to severe storms by late Wednesday.
