High pressure which is moving off to the east of Ohio will keep skies mostly clear to partly cloudy this evening and temperatures much warmer than the last few days. Overnight lows will hold in the lower to middle 40’s tonight. A weak cold front will move into central Ohio late tonight into Tuesday morning bringing with it more clouds and a slight chance for a shower. Despite the front, temperatures will be even warmer Tuesday with highs climbing into the upper 60’s to near 70 degrees as skies clear in the afternoon. It will be quite windy Tuesday with wind gusts over 30 mph possible late in the day.
The same cold front that crosses Tuesday will return north as a warm front Wednesday which will bring a better chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Unsettled weather with on and off rain and storms will stick around Thursday and Friday. Despite the rain, temperatures will stay near or above normal through the rest of the week before cooling back below normal this weekend.
