Monday: Chance for early snow showers. Early morning high of 11 followed by falling temperatures throughout the day. Temperatures around zero by late afternoon.
We’re off to another cold start to the day with temperatures in the single digits and wind chill readings below zero. Snow showers will continue into the afternoon, but most of it will have fallen during the morning. Another 1 to 3 inches will be possible along and north of I-70 with lower totals to the south. Pockets of 4 inches are a possibility north of I-70.
Dangerously cold air will head our way behind a cold front Monday. After reaching morning highs in the low teens, temperatures will fall throughout the day. Overnight lows Monday night will bottom out between -10 and -15 with wind chill readings between -30 and -40. We might not climb above zero for a high on Tuesday!
