Mix Of Sun & Clouds, Small Chance For Pop-Up Showers This Afternoon
Your Doppler 10 Forecast
This Afternoon: Sun & clouds. Slight chance for a shower late. Low 70s. W 5-10 mph
Tonight: Clearing and cooler again. 54 NW 3-6 mph
Tomorrow: Mostly sunny and pleasant. Mid 70s. NW 3-6 mph
Friday: Mostly sunny and warmer. 76
A nice cool down today as the jet stream dips unusually far to the south. Skies will start off mostly sunny, but a weak upper level system will bring at least a chance for a widely scattered shower late today before high pressure returns and clears us out heading into the weekend. Our high of 73 today will be close to the record for the coolest high ever for July 16th in Columbus. That was set in 1892 when Columbus' high temperature only made it to 70 degrees. Temperatures will be more seasonable by Friday and into the weekend. The chance for a scatttered shower or storm returns Saturday as well.
ALERTS : SPC has A Slight Risk for Severe Storms over parts of CO, NM, KS, OK & TX. No Alerts in Ohio.
Inconvenient WX/Plan Your Day: A little cool for some. Not the best pool or tanning day. Chance for a few sprinkles late today. Cool again the next couple of mornings with a gradual warm-up in the afternoon.
