Authorities have located the vehicle belonging to a Logan County woman who has been missing since last week.

Tiffany Brown's Honda Civic was found in Bellefontaine at the Colonial Arms Apartments, located at 554 East Columbus St., 10TV's Kevin Landers reported on Monday.

Investigators said Brown's keys were found in the car.

According to a police report, Brown went out on Friday afternoon to run errands but she never returned.

Brown, 26, left her two sons with a neighbor, authorities said.

"We searched all over Kenton, Bell Center, Bellefontaine, West Liberty, it's just frantic. We need her back," said Brown's mother Deborah Neely.

Police told Neely that someone turned on her daughter's cell phone on Saturday. The location of the signal appeared to be about 3 miles north of Kenton and the call was to someone to Chicago.

Brown's parents said she was a dedicated mother, who had a job and was attending cosmetology school.

They said they are confident that her disappearance is a case of foul play but police have not classified it as such yet.

Detectives said there was nothing suspicious inside her apartment but are hoping there may be a clue inside her abandoned car.
