A cold front will stall near the Ohio River this evening and then begin to return northward across central Ohio overnight. As the front returns north, there will be a chance for a shower or thunderstorm late tonight. Temperatures will remain mild overnight with lows holding to around 50 degrees by morning. A quick warm up is expected on Monday as the front returns north to near Lake Erie. This will push temperatures in the middle 70’s by afternoon. Gusty winds of up to 30 mph out of the south will be likely in the afternoon. There will also be a chance for pop up thunderstorms through the day Monday.
The best chances for rain will shift north of central Ohio on Tuesday and Wednesday; however an isolated chance for a pop up storm is possible. Temperatures will remain unseasonably warm through the middle of the week. A cold front will bring a greater threat for showers and storms on Thursday along with cooler weather to end the week.
