Meth Lab Found Near A 10-Month-Old’s Crib In Somerset

Authorities in Perry County say they found a methamphetamine lab in a room adjacent to a bedroom with a 10-month-old in a crib.

The meth lab was in a mobile home in the 300 block of West Sheridan Drive in Somerset.

The lab was hidden behind a furnace in the residence, according to Perry County deputies.

The mother of the child was arrested for felony child endangering.

Charges against the woman have not yet been filed. Additional suspects were also identified at the scene, according to deputies.

The 10-month-old was not injured and was turned over to Perry County Children Services.
