Men Indicted In Connection With Alleged Murder-For-Hire Plot


The Franklin County Prosecutor on Wednesday announced indictments against two men in connection with an arranged murder plot.

According to the indictment from the Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien, 59-year-old Daniel W. Lytle was indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder, one count of aggravated burglary, one count of aggravated robbery, one count of kidnapping, one count of violating a protection order or consent agreement, one count of abduction, one court of domestic violence, and one count of conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

Brad A. Fickenworth, 26, was indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder.

Investigators said Lytle was plotting to kill his ex-wife.

Another man allegedly provided the information that led to the arrest of Fickenworth.

Detectives said that Fickenworth was then recorded in a phone conversation which implicated Lytle.

Lytle has denied the allegations.

According to police reports, Lytle and his ex-wife have a history of violence.
