Medical Helicopters Called To Scene Of Licking County Multi-Vehicle Crash

Two medical helicopters were called to the scene of a serious crash in Licking County Monday afternoon around 4 p.m.

Authorities said that two or three vehicles were involved in the crash on Johnstown-Utica Road (U.S. 62) west of Utica.

Officials said that there were four transports made.

Two people were transported via medical helicopter to unknown hospitals. One child was transported by ground to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. An adult was taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

U.S. 62 was closed in both directions between Shipley Road and state Route 657 because of the crash.
