A man was caught nearly two weeks after escaping arrest from Delaware County Adult Services.

Carl W. Keeton was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals and Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday morning at the home of a relative.

Keeton was taken into custody on July 10 for a probation violation, but escaped from the back of an ACS vehicle during the arrest.

Parole officers had left him alone in the car while they searched a Magnetic Springs home where he was living.

“The dedicated efforts by several law enforcement agencies led to this successful and peaceful capture,” said ACS Chief Probation Officer Doug Missman.

In June, Keeton was placed on a four-year community control sentence for a fourth-degree felony of trespass in a habitation when a person is present.
