Man Wanted For Allegedly Causing Fatal Crash Captured In Pike County

A man wanted in connection with a crash that killed three and injured one person in June was taken into custody Wednesday morning.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Paul R. Riggs was captured on Germany Road in Pike County at about 11 a.m.

Riggs was wanted in connection with causing a fatal crash on River Road in Pike County on June 24.

Tina L. Ogier, 35, her unborn child and her passenger, Mary Jane E. Cooper, 19, were killed in the crash.

A 14-year-old male was hospitalized in the crash.

Riggs is charged with two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, one count of vehicular homicide and one count of aggravated vehicular assault.
