Man Shot, Crashes Car Near North Columbus Waffle House

Police were questioning two people and searching for one more in connection with a man being shot at a north side restaurant early Wednesday morning.

According to police, Terrence Wray was shot twice in the left torso outside a Waffle House, located at 1050 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., at about 4 a.m.

Police said that after being shot, Wray, 30, crashed his SUV while he was trying to drive to a hospital.

According to police, shell casings from two separate guns were found at the scene. Witnesses said that they heard at least two rounds fired.

Wray was then taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition, 10TV’s Shayla Reaves reported.

Police said that they stopped a vehicle near Morse and Westerville roads with two people inside. Investigators said that they confirmed that the two people had been at the Waffle House at the time of the shooting. No arrests were immediately made.
