Man Held On $100,000 Bond After Restaurant Parking Lot Shooting


Jamon Kennedy is being held on $100,000 bond after police said he shot at a man in a restaurant parking lot.

Police said he and another man got into a fight in the parking lot of the Logan's Roadhouse just off I-270 on Sawmill Road Friday afternoon.

According to police, a female caller dialed 911, stating her boyfriend had been shot and that the gunman fled the scene through the restaurant's parking lot.

Authorities captured the suspect, Jamon Kennedy, a short time later in another parking lot behind a Wendy's restaurant.

Friday night, police said the victim, Marcus Dillinger, was not shot.

Police said the men got in a fight at Logan's Roadhouse and it moved over to IHOP where Kennedy fired his weapon.

Kennedy, 38, is charged with felonious assault.
