Man Drives Himself To Hospital After Shooting


Columbus Police arrested a man they believe is responsible for a shooting in north Columbus.

It happened in the 1800 block of Woodland Avenue around 5:45 p.m. Saturday.

Police said 49-year-old Gary Curry drove himself to OSU Hospital East.  He had gunshot wounds to both legs and his groin.

Curry told police Donte Treadwell shot him.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Treadwell.  They believed he shot Curry during an argument.  

One of the bullets went into the house and hit a couch.  No one inside the home was hurt.

Treadwell was charged with felonious assault.
