Authorities charged a man with murder in connection with a deadly shooting inside a South Zanesville Burger King Thursday.

According to the Zanesville Times Recorder, 34-year-old Timothy Daniel is charged with murder, assault and carrying a concealed weapon.

Daniel is accused of shooting 61-year-old Charles M. Hooper of Zanesville to death inside the restaurant.

Deputies say Daniel was involved in an argument with another woman when Hooper apparently intervened.

Daniel apparently did not like what Hooper said and police say he shot him in the head.

"He was trying to get the guy from the girl," said a 911 caller.
