One man has been arrested in connection with several threats made against a Giant Eagle Market District in Upper Arlington.

Police say 58-year-old Andrew Wetsel contacted the grocery store on Tuesday by phone and threatened to open fire at the store.  Police were on scene investigating that call when Wetsel made a second call, claiming again that he was going to “shoot up the store.”  Police identified the caller as Wetsel – who was asked to leave the store the previous night.

The 58-year-old was arrested Wednesday afternoon by Upper Arlington Police and Franklin County Sheriff’s.  He is charged with one felony count of Making a Terroristic Threat and misdemeanor counts of Aggravated Menacing, Inducing Panic and Telecommunications Harassment.
