Man Arrested For Allegedly Stabbing Stepson With Screwdriver


A Columbus man was reportedly stabbed with a screwdriver by his stepfather.

Lynold Thomas and his stepfather, Neil Ferguson, reportedly began to argue at approximately 11:30 p.m. on June 22.

The argument intensified so much that Ferguson brandished a weapon that was believed to be a screwdriver, according to court documents.

Ferguson then proceeded to stab Thomas three times in the upper body, according to reports.

The alleged incident took place in the 800 block of S. 17th Street.

Thomas was transported to Grant Medical Center, where he was rushed to surgery in serious condition.
