A man who had been charged in connection with a homicide from 2011 will spend time in jail on other charges.

Police arrested Wyteia Webster in Florida last year.

They said he was responsible for the death of Islam Basyouny, who died after being shot while driving and crashing his SUV in west Columbus in 2011.

Investigators said that robbery was the motive, and the jury found him guilty of that crime.
