Christopher Allen Wehrle has six warrants out for his arrest in connection with stealing video games, DVDs and other electronics.

The Columbus City Attorney's Office on Monday named the 45-year-old Dublin-area man the Fugitive of the Week.

Wehrle is accused of stealing the items from northwest Columbus stores. Officials said that he targeted the same store four times in one month.

On Feb. 2, he allegedly stole seven PlayStation 3 games, each valued at $19.99. He broke open the packages and stuffed them in a duffle bag, which he also stole from the store.

On April 14, he allegedly stole several Xbox 360 games, worth a total of $67.96.

On June 7, he allegedly stole five DVDs valuing $87.80 from a Bethel Road store. He allegedly stole five more on June 16 and stole a Bluetooth CD receiver June 27 and a Pioneer CD receiver on July 2.

According to the attorney's office, in nearly all the cases, Wehrle was helped by an accomplice in a dark sedan waiting to pick him up.

Wehrle is currently on probation as a result of a 2009 conviction for breaking and entering.

Anyone who has seen Wehrle is asked to call Bill R. Hedrick with the city attorney's office at 614-645-8874 or email
