Man Accused Of Raping Ex-Girlfriend, Holding Her Hostage Held On $1 Million Bond
A judge ordered a man accused of raping and kidnapping his ex-girlfriend held under $1 million bond on Friday.
Alfred A. Hill is accused of assaulting the woman, whose identity was not released.
According to information in court on Friday, Hill is accused of forcing his ex-girlfriend, who was 19 at the time, to walk with his 1-year-old daughter to an abandoned house, where he allegedly raped her.
Police said that after the first rape, Hill forced the woman to walk to his home, where he raped her two more times. Detectives said that Hill held them for more than 14 hours before they were able to escape.
The alleged crime occurred in July 2011.
Hill, 26, was arrested on Thursday after leading police, who were investigating the death of his 4-year-old child, on a 10-minute chase.
Investigators said that Hill was being investigated in connection with the child's death, which was called suspicious.
The Franklin County Coroner has not ruled on the cause of the boy’s death.
