Police were called to a scene at 6216 Sunderland Dr. on Saturday where a man was found dead.

Robert Daley, 52, was apparently shot in the head, according to investigators.

Daley was a manager at a local KFC, according to authorities. He and his family live in Mansfield, but he had an apartment in Columbus due to his out of town job.

Police said Daley’s wife and children discovered the body when they came to the apartment after not hearing from him.

A television, Play Station, guns, cell phone and his car were also missing from the residence.

“That's scary and that's really close to home, especially when you have children, cause I have two small children,” said Lori Colbridge, a neighbor.

“It's kind of unraveling. Especially you know, you have a lot of kids playing around in this neighborhood. So I mean, you just want to keep on guard. It keeps you… you want to stay on alert,” said neighbor Chris Bell.

Authorities said that Daley's 2009 gray Toyota Camry that is missing has a license plate number of FRA6017.

Columbus police ask that you contact them if you spot the vehicle or have any information about Daley's death.
