A landlord who previously was jailed in connection with renting uninhabitable home has been arrested again, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

According to documents, landlord Sam Vazirani was wanted for still being involved in real estate, which is prohibited as part of his probation.

Vazirani was jailed last year after a home that he owned and illegally rented to a family burned, killing three people, including a young child, on Christmas Eve 2011.

“There appears there were a lot of transfers made under fake corporations, and the accusations are that Mr. Vazirani is still the person in charge of these properties which was clearly state he was not supposed to do,” said Bill Hedrick, Columbus City Attorney’s Office.

Vazirani faces more than a year in jail if found guilty of violating probation.
