A Lancaster elementary school student told her principal that a man exposed himself to her around 8:30 a.m. near South Elementary School on East Walnut Street in Lancaster Friday.

The student was serving as a crossing guard when the vehicle parked across the street, according to police reports.

The student said the man was shaking and that it "drew her attention." When the student approached the vehicle, she observed the man did not have pants on and he was touching himself, according to the report.

The man allegedly asked the girl how she was doing. He left when other children approached the area, according to the report.

The man was described as being in his 40s with a thin mustache and beard and wearing a gold and blue striped shirt. The vehicle was described as a four-door blue car.
